Composite

It is a composite material whose structure has a polyamide compound that makes it more resistance against impacts, it doesn’t smash into pieces when the Toe Cap is exposed to an impact or a compression, it provides higher safety to the user while dealing with a possible accident on the toe area. Biomechanically designed to distribute uniformly the sole pressures, they absorb the impacts while the user is walking or standing. Textile material that is covering the insoles is treated with substances that also inhibit the spread of fungi and bacteria, even if they are washed.

Unlike other “waterproof leathers” that have only one layer to repellent liquids, BERRENDO with the help of experts in the subject has developed a new technology that is successfully applied since the moment when the Leather had been tanned, allowing the final product  (leather) to be totally waterproof, keeping this feature throughout the lifetime of footwear. This ensures that the user’s feet will be kept dry for a long time.

 

Note:

Moisture penetration may happen when the shoes are in constant and prolonged contact (more than 30 minutes) with water or other liquids. It’s not waterproof.

Under Shield

Non-metallic element which integrates itself into the adhesive system of the shoe, it’s non-removable. Unlike metallic anti-penetration insoles, the UNDER SHIELD insole completely covers the soles of your feet providing the user with total protection against sharp objects, made of synthetic and natural fibers similar to the ones used in manufacturing tactical bulletproof vests; it allows footwear to provide sweat absorbing power, it’s light and also dielectric.

Ergo Support

Ergonomic chassis biomechemically designed in order to distribute and bear uniformly the user’s weight, at the same time it provides stability when walking and allows to walk firmly, even on sinuous grounds avoiding ankle sprains. It offers an extraordinary support to the foot arch, improving this way its performance during different activities, such as going upstairs or working with shovels where the user needs to use his feet soles as tools. This chassis is integrated during the adhesive process in the Direct Attachedsystem of the BIOTECH line.

Oil Resistant

Technologies applied to some of BERRENDO’s Soles, besides of having all the properties of resistance, to abrasion, tears, excellent design and comfort, have the ability to resist the contact with oils, without any risk or possible damage meeting and surpassing the norms, such as NRF-290-PEMEX-2012.

Extra Active

It’s biomechanically designed to distribute uniformly the sole pressures, absorbing at the same time the impacts while walking or standing, made of micro-porous materials (foam) of the highest quality. It doesn’t lose its shape when compressed under the user’s weight; it has an excellent resilience and easy to remove and wash.

 

Textile that covers the Insole is treated with substances that also inhibit the proliferation of fungi and bacteria, even if the Insole is washed.

Support System

Polymeric element of high resistance, that covers the back part of the shoe toone third part of the whole length of the shoe, it is adjusted to the user’s ankle providing him total protection, especially when the user is performing  works that require a significant bending while standing; it also provides firmness when walking and carrying heavy objects, and protects the ankle of the user from hits in the places like mines or poorly lit places, where it is hard to see clearly the surrounding objects that could be found in the workplace.

Dri-Lex

Sweating is a natural cooling process of the human body functioning. It includes the emission of vapor and moisture that takes place especially inside the shoes.

 

Dri-Lex, a registered trademark of the highest technology, offers a fiber made of two 100% woven materials: hydrophilic nylon (that absorbs moisture) and hydrophobic polyester (that repels the moisture). This combination creates only one fiber but with double comfort. On the one hand, 2-Zone® with its push-and pull effect displaces sweat away from the Leather when it is too hot making sweat evaporate immediately, and, on the other hand, it takes an advantage of the body temperature to keep feet warm when it is cold, offering a perfect and unique balance between performance and comfort.  


Only Dri-Lex ® has this special fiber that neither gets worn out, nor loses its properties when is washed, as it completely combines a waving process that keeps the properties of each fiber in a separate manner, making it very resistant to abrasion and tears.
